Non-Profit Chiropractic Organization (NPCO) is an official 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing chiropractic healthcare, in the form of non-profit clinics, to those less fortunate around the world. Our focus for 2010 is spreading awareness throughout the country by participating in various high-profile events. NPCO interns will learn and gain skills in cause-related marketing, event planning, public relations and much more while helping to develop, plan and assist at upcoming events. Gain valuable experience while helping to change the lives of others!

Responsibilities: Summary of Internship Opportunity:NPCO's local Davenport, Iowa office is currently seeking a Communications, Marketing and/or Public Relations intern to support the Executive Director in upcoming projects and events. Key duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with the writing/editing of press releases and newsletters, project research and development, data collection, recruitment and occasional administrative work and on-site event assistance. Major events for 2010 include event preparation for the 2010 Chicago Marathon, Chicago Half Marathon, Chiropractic Awareness Day and scheduling Book Tour dates.Our events are only weeks away!
