Events and Meetings
PR Network holds educational meetings on the third Thursday of most months. A luncheon begins at 11:30 am,
with the program starting at noon. A new public relations topic is presented each month, with time for questions
and networking at the end.
Next meeting: September 18
Topic: “Guerrilla PR”
Speaker: Leyla Farah is the founder and owner of Cause+Effect Public Relations in San Francisco
Ms. Farah will speak about Guerrilla PR and how it can work in today’s media landscape. She assures that a PR firm is not needed; this is do-it-yourself PR at its finest, and it’s available to anyone, anywhere at any time. It takes true guerrilla techniques: nimble thinking, unexpected execution, and a willingness to try something new.
Leyla Farah is the founder and owner of Cause+Effect Public Relations in San Francisco. It is a publicity firm that serves progressive corporations, individuals, and organizations in the U.S. and abroad. Prior to founding Cause+Effect, she oversaw corporate strategy, branding, and communications initiatives for Fortune 500 clients from Istanbul to Anaheim. www.cause-pr.com
